Hi! I'm Shreeda Tailor and I've been in the hair industry my whole life! My mother is a stylist, so I was introduced to this art at a very young age. I'm family oriented and my favorite things to do are cooking with my husband, laughing with our two beautiful children, and playing with our goofy puppy, Watson. We are all avid readers, so you may also find us cuddled up enjoying a good book together.
After high school, I went to college earning my B.S. in Nuclear Science from the University of the Incarnate Word. I worked in healthcare for a few years and pursued my M.Ed. in Secondary Math and Science Education from the University of Houston. While teaching at a university, I realized something was missing and always had been. I pivoted into beauty school and hit the ground running. I graduated top of my class from PCI Academy where I was given many amazing opportunities to grow as a stylist. Since then, I have lead Fashion Week, worked on celebrities, and traveled all over the world to do hair. With my experience and my knowledge of human physiology, pharmacology, and trichology, I'm able to give my clients real answers to their hair troubles.
Hair shouldn't be confusing or difficult. I love creating practical and easy looks that my clients have success with at home. Here's how I achieve that:
-
Client education- I educate every guest who sits in my chair. I educate you on my process, the expectations, the maintenance, and the pros & cons to any new hair ideas. I want us to be on the same page, always. I also give you styling tips and easy ways to style your hair at home.

-
Absolute honesty- Have you ever had a stylist who wouldn't tell you whether or not a haircut or color was a bad idea for you? That won't happen with me. I will always (respectfully, and with love of course) give you my honest opinion based on your lifestyle, budget, face shape, maintenance limitations, and hair health. If I think you're getting into something you may not be able to handle, I'll let you know. I want you to have healthy happy hair, always.

-
Long term goals- I create a LONG TERM plan to keep you in love with your hair for many years to come. I love trends, but you will never see me prioritizing the short term over the long term. Because I'm taking the time to really get to know you, I will end up anticipating much needed hair changes to keep things interesting.
As an educator to professional stylists, I must stay on top of new techniques and trends to be able to facilitate inspiring classes. I have been very fortunate to have trained under some of the world's best stylists. In this role, I have the opportunity to not only enrich other stylists, but also myself. I pour all that back into my guests. You can be assured that I'm up for any challenge and will thoroughly educate myself to rise to it.
My priority as your stylist is to help develop a plan for your hair that is realistic to your hair health, your lifestyle, and your future. Healthy, natural-looking hair, lived-in styles (read: low maintenance), and plenty of communication come first in my chair. It's my job to get to know you as a person so the perfect hair color & cut can be curated for your unique needs. I'm looking forward to meeting you and starting your journey to beautiful, healthy hair!
